Towel roll,wet tissues,diaper burp rags-Amy Butler towels make us reconsider color

        We'll be honest: We've been white-towel people for years. Call us design fascists, call us color-challenged, towel roll heck, call us bleach-addicted, we like a towel that turns up its pristine nose at color.

        Lately, though, we've grown tired of wet tissues plain vanilla. Our ever-roving eyes have turned toward spicier hues: lime green, plum, even a splashy coral.

        Perhaps what turned our diaper burp rags heads were these offerings from the queen of modern florals, Amy Butler. For years, Butler has been cranking out fabrics, lifestyle books, tote bags, sewing patterns and more from her perfectly appointed, modern-meets-rustic perch in Ohio.         In her signature bold colors and stylized florals, these fluffy cotton towels could be just the thing to launch a bathroom rethink. The coral print is tempting us mightily. Look out, snowy whites.
